Our Services

Walsall Integrated Sexual Health Service (WiSH) is a new NHS resource for the residents of Walsall. We now have one premises at Pleck Road, Walsall. Which is opposite the Manor Hospital, and offer postal testing services for home use.

STIs

There are many different types of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) that are passed on
during vaginal, anal and oral sex as well as through intimate contact with an infected partner.

Contraception

You can get free emergency contraception from your GP, any sexual health clinic, local pharmacies if you’re a borough resident and young people’s services across the Walsall area.

Pregnancy

If you have had unprotected sex (sex without using contraception) or if your contraception has
failed, (for example a condom has split) then there is a real chance that you could be pregnant.

Sexual Assault

This is an extremely difficult time for you but there is help and support available. If you have been sexually assaulted and would like to speak to someone, visit the Horizon Sexual
Assault Referral Centre website
.
